WNBA star Natasha Cloud expressed her dissatisfaction with the recent Supreme Court decisions and channeled her frustrations through social media.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Cloud vehemently criticized America following the Supreme Court’s dismissal of race as a determining factor in college admissions.
The multitude of flaws within our country is disheartening, and instead of utilizing our available resources to enact positive change, we persistently oppress marginalized groups who have been targeted since time immemorial.
Communities of Black and brown individuals, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, possess an extraordinary strength that should no longer be divided and attacked, but rather celebrated and embraced.
Our country is trash in so many ways and instead of using our resources to make it better we continue to oppress Marginalized groups that we have targeted since the beginning of times.
Black/brown communities& LGBTQ+ man we are too powerful to still be attacking issues separate

.@T_Cloud4 no ma’am, you are trash. America is and always will be the greatest country in the world. You have the opportunity to play basketball in this great country and get paid to do so. This country provides opportunity and you then keep people down with your rhetoric. https://t.co/31LNevlWjE

You live in a prosperous nation where the NBA has enough RESOURCES to keep your otherwise negligible women's league alive, despite never turning a profit.
Don't start complaining about oppression. https://t.co/LnGSD1hMmJ

I’m going to continue to speak the truth about this country. Because until your truthful about your flaws and weaknesses nothing changes.
