Witches on Bicycles Ride for Oak Island Water Rescue
On a crisp autumn day just days before Halloween, the streets of Oak Island will be filled with a magical sight: witches on bicycles. Dressed in their finest witchy attire, carrying special brooms, they will ride from restaurant to restaurant, sipping cocktails and having fun.
The Oak Island Witches Ride is a fundraiser for Oak Island Water Rescue, a non-profit, all-volunteer emergency response that aids distressed swimmers and boaters. Participants are asked to make a minimum donation of $7, and proceeds from the event go to support the organization.

The Witches Ride is more than just a fundraiser, though. It’s a community event that brings people together to celebrate Halloween and support a good cause. The ride is open to everyone, regardless of age or gender, and it’s a great way to meet new people and explore the local businesses.
On the day of the ride, participating restaurants and bars offer themed cocktails and appetizer specials. The witches ride from one business to the next, enjoying the food and drinks and taking in the atmosphere. At the end of the day, all the witches gather at a central location to perform a special choreographed dance.
The Witches Ride is a fun and festive event for the whole community, and it’s a great way to show your support for Oak Island Water Rescue. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable Halloween experience, be sure to join the witches for a ride on October 29th!
