Zendaya Steals the Show at Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers Game
Thursday night’s NBA game between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers was an event that didn’t disappoint in terms of star power. From athletes to actors, it seemed like everyone who was anyone was in attendance. However, one particular celebrity managed to steal the spotlight and the hearts of NBA fans across the globe: Zendaya.
The 26-year-old Hollywood A-lister was spotted courtside, proudly repping the Dubs with her Warriors hat on. Her radiant presence was immediately noticed by viewers at home, who quickly took to social media to express their admiration for the talented actress. NBA Twitter was particularly smitten, with many calling for Jordan Poole to have a big game in her honor.
For those who aren’t aware, Poole gained social media infamy after he once famously went off on the court after supposedly spotting a couple of “baddies” sitting courtside. Since then, his legend has grown with every big game he’s had when a beautiful woman has been spotted in the crowd. While we all know that the connection between his performance and the presence of a pretty lady is a bit of a stretch, it hasn’t stopped fans from eagerly anticipating another “baddie game” from JP.
And so, when Zendaya was spotted in the crowd for Game 2, fans were buzzing with excitement, eagerly waiting to see if Poole would once again rise to the occasion. It’s clear that the narrative behind his supposed “baddie games” is all in good fun and adds a lighthearted touch to the game. But whether or not Poole delivers another standout performance remains to be seen. One thing’s for sure though: Zendaya’s presence certainly added a touch of glamour to the already star-studded event.

Despite the excitement surrounding Zendaya’s courtside appearance at Game 2, unfortunately, it didn’t seem to have the desired effect on Jordan Poole’s performance for the Warriors. The guard remained relatively quiet throughout the game, with other players such as Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry stepping up to secure a crucial win for the team. Perhaps Poole was too focused on the game to notice Zendaya’s presence or didn’t get the memo that she was in the crowd.
Despite Poole’s subdued performance, the Warriors put on a dominant display in Game 2, crushing the Lakers in a game that they absolutely had to win after losing Game 1 on their home floor. LeBron James and his team were simply outmatched, with the defending champions showing why they’re one of the most feared teams in the league. With the series now tied at 1-1, all eyes will be on the Lakers as they look to regain their advantage on their home turf.
